I was chatting about getting my dog into acting and occurred to me that in a city like Toronto my sweet pooch might only find gigs eating or endorsing food that are probably un-endorsable. My colleague asked what I meant, and I searched Iams to see if I could find any examples of their animal cruelty there. The 2nd result returned (below their promotional site) was iamscruelty.com/

I recommend the PETA material as well, but this site is a good whistle-blower, and should be spread around to anyone who owns an animal and made the misinformed choice of feeding their best friend food that keeps their brothers in horrible conditions within the Iams testing facility.

I have read accounts of PETA reporters visiting facilities and finding animals with thier vocal cords cut to stop them from barking/screaming. Their disregard for the spirit and ultimately the life of animals is so much so that feeding your dog the food is equivalent to feeding them the bodies of the caged animals.
